Elays Advocacy seeks to ensure that people, particularly those who are most vulnerable in society, are able to:
Have their voice heard on issues that are important to them,
Defend and safeguard their rights
Have their views and wishes, considered when decisions are being made about their lives.
Elays Advocacy has helped many people from diverse backgrounds with a variety of issues from housing, benefits, education, finance, health, immigration, social services, and crime.
We also run parenting workshops that specifically deal with issues such as youth crime, education, social services, and positive parenting over 6 weeks, with many families participating in these programmes.
In addition, we do parent and youth workshops throughout the year addressing everyday issues that people face. These are run by a professional family life coach who explores the parent-child relationship and dynamics. These projects are normally advertised on our website and social platforms ahead of events.
